Equity & Inclusion: Demonstrate the awareness, attitude, knowledge, and skills required to equitably engage and include people from different local and global cultures. Engage in anti-racist practices that actively challenge the systems, structures, and policies of racism.”  This chapter will help you increase awareness of your own perspectives as well as the value of understanding others’ perspectives so you can be intentional about how you engage in critical conversations about topics related to diversity, equity, and inclusion academically and professionally.

 

Communication: “Clearly and effectively exchange information, ideas, facts, and perspectives with persons inside and outside of an organization.”  This chapter will help you learn about and practice skills for effective verbal and written communication for a variety of purposes.

 

Teamwork: “Build and maintain collaborative relationships to work effectively toward common goals, while appreciating diverse viewpoints and shared responsibilities.” This course will provide you with opportunities to recognize and value the strengths in yourself and others to optimize collaboration.
